Galaxy Pathfinders Third Meeting
Here are some pictures from our Third meeting this year. We worked on the basic swimming honor and those people who already had the honor just played around.



Galaxy Pathfinders First Meeting
Here are some pictures from our first meeting of the '09-'10 Pathfinder year. We mainly did an ice breaker and that was about it.



Oshkosh International Pathfinder Camporee

We made it!!!! Our Pathfinder Club, Weslaco Galaxy, after much prayer and hard work fundraising, arrived at the 2009 International Pathfinder Camporee in Oshkosh, WI, Courage to Stand. We had an awesome  time there and our club was blessed. While there, one of our pathfinders, Ithiel DelaCruz, was baptized, and another chose to be baptized. Oshkosh was an amazing experience, one that the Weslaco Galaxy Club will never forget.

Here is the Galaxy Pathfinder Drill Team's Third performance at Oshkosh. We got third place and were really happy for it because this is only our first year of Pathfinders.

Valley Coastal Bend Pathfinder Area Camporee

We were at Area Camporee the Second weekend of April. We had a lot of fun there with all the events and activities they had for us to do. Here are some pictures of the different activities.


The Butterfly Event. Three Pathfinders had to memorize the common and scientific names for 27 different butterflies.

The Swim and Rescue Event. There were five people who participated in this event. Basically, one person swam to the other side of the pool, then the rescuer went to bring them back. The rescuer had to tie a neckercheif to be used as a sling and bring the person with the broken arm back while others were pulling them.

Sabbath School activities. The boys were performing a skit of Abraham sacrificing his son Isaac.
